And here start the much awaited summer vacations. Even today it gives a goose bump in stomach even thinking of our childhood summer vacations. Then we grew up and summer vacations were taken away from us, just like that.

Watching movies at home in ever increasing heat waves, is a good idea. I am not going to talk about all known animation 3D movies out there in theatres, but I am going to introduce some little know gems which you can enjoy with your kids. These movies, along with entertainment, gives some moral learnings too, which our young ones can adapt.

A good movie to show the care and love between brother and sister. The movie is an adventures journey of a brother-sister duo, to meet Shahrukh Khan, in order to get help for the treatment of her brother's eyes.
Throughout the journey Pari (sister) takes all good care of her brother. They meet various people, get various experiences of world. You will also get yourself indulge into colours of Rajasthani Culture and ambience.
Fusion of song, "Lal Meri Pat" is yet another slice of enjoyment.
In the backdrop of Rajasthani Culture, this story is all about a child's dream of getting eduacation.
A very sensible and emotional film of my childhood time. I had really got my eyes moist in the last scene of the film. The story is about a little girl, who is alone in her life and desperately needs a good friend.
She finds a little puppy on a fine day and her search of a friend comes to an end. But this is just the start of actual story.
After losing her newly found friend, Shahsa, gets sad again, and starts the search of her friend. This journey is really heart melting, with the punch of climax.
The music of the movie really touches the heart.
I am a big fan of Iranian movies. Movies like Children of Heaven, Songs of Sparrow, Turtles can fly, Taste of Cherry, the Separation, Baran, and lot many more movies have stolen my heart.
What I like in Iranian Cinema is the simplicity and Honesty of camera and director in showing us real life of people.
This movie, Children of Heaven, tells the story of two children from a poor family, sharing a pair of school shoes between them.
You probably have seen the Indian version of the movie, titled as "Bum Bam Bhole". But original is much better. While watching the movie, it never feels that we are watching a film, but it feels like we are living their life and are fully into it.
One of the gem of Iranian Cinema.
