In todays fast moving and rushing life, with challenges and stressed relations, we always need someone, who can listen to us, who can help us to find our own self, one who can make us feel, like we are.
Not everyone is lucky to have the one of such kind, but if you get it, you may never want to lose, though you know, that they will.
This movie, reminded me days of my frequent travelling, when I used to connect and collate to develop stories on the experience of train / bus journeys. These moments give a wide scope for stories to get developed.
“Na peru Saumya”, “Walking Dreams”, “Return Ticket” are such stories, which got developed and nurtured with my experience and imaginations during such journeys. You may like to read these short stories under Aantarmann section of this website.
Review:
This movie has added similar colours to my imaginations and fulfilled my thirst for a good story.
“8 A.M. Metro”, tells the story of two strangers who meet at metro station and takes on the journey, which will change their fate and vision to see the life, in a new form. The train journey which will make them change their own tracks from a sad, stalled life.
Few relations get developed, without our noticing and get nurtured to an extent that, we can not judge if it’s right or wrong. Such relations should not be given names or the finishing. These are good, if kept un-named and unfinished. The story travels very well on this concept and reaches to a perfect destination.
The movie reminds me well of similar flicks such as Kuch Bheege Alfaz, , A walk to remember, the Sunrise series (before sunrise, before sunset etc.) where, the Samvaad (conversation) between two characters, on relevant-non relevant topics forms the heart of story.
The story in the movie is not forced, but gets going smoothly as the narration progresses. Interwoven script of story with poetic wordings from Gulzar, adds a romantic touch to storytelling.
I always admire performance of Gulshan Devaiah, especially his work in this movie, and series named “Afsos” and “Duranga”.
This a must watch to have an emotional journey and feel the life, and listen to what it wants from us, really.
