I have always been an avid fan of anthology films, and this title had been sitting on my "to be watched" list for a long time. After finally watching it, I couldn't help wondering why I kept this gem waiting in the shadows for so long.

All six segments are beautifully captured and presented, each helmed by a different director.

This is the story of a devoted wife and her quiet sacrifice for her husband. Facing a double crisis—paying a missed flat loan EMI to the bank within 24 hours and arranging an escort at the last minute for her husband's wealthy boss—feels nearly impossible for Rajatava. However, his wife quietly steps in, taking on the escort assignment to earn the money, all without her husband's knowledge.

Personally, I would rename this segment "Khusboo," as it radiates the subtle fragrance of a wife's love and selflessness. In the closing scene, a specific perfume bottle is shown—the exact fragrance Srilekha wore while on her assignment. When her husband catches a faint hint of it, the subtle gesture quietly communicates the truth of her sacrifice to him.

This tells the story of Arunima, a small tea stall owner who dreams of escaping poverty to live like a queen. She saves every meager earning day by day to build her future, only to have her dreams shattered when her male companion steals her life savings. In a fit of despair, Arunima strikes him down with a brick, leading to her arrest.

A family doctor attending to a wealthy elderly woman, Supriya Devi, becomes entangled in an affair with her maid. One day, Supriya Devi shows him a vintage photo album featuring an expensive antique necklace. Later, she pulls out the actual necklace—worth 40 Lakhs—from her wardrobe. The doctor manages to steal the photo from the album, visits a jeweler to commission an exact duplicate replica, and plans a swap.

Finding an afternoon when the house is empty, the doctor overdoses Supriya Devi and replaces the real necklace with the fake. Following her death, the doctor becomes a wealthy man overnight. However, his meticulous plan unravels when the maid reveals she witnessed his crime and begins blackmailing him.

A portrait of a man known locally as Raghun Babu, notorious for his volcanic temper and rough treatment of everyone around him. One day, after he violently beats his wife in front of their young son, the boy snaps, retaliating by striking his father across the head with a cricket bat. In the final chilling scene, the son is shown flying into a rage at an elderly uncle—foreshadowing yet another Raghun Babu in the making.

An exploration of how unchecked ego brings a person crashing down. Rupa and Kunal are a married couple working in the film industry. As Rupa achieves greater fame than Kunal, her ego balloons, leading her to constantly belittle her husband. One day, a severe accident leaves her confined to a wheelchair, costing her career. Matters worsen when Kunal grows intimate with the domestic caretaker hired for Rupa's recovery.

Ritu and Payel are two sisters preparing for board exams. Payel is academically ambitious and commands more attention from their parents and tutors, breeding quiet jealousy in Ritu. However, when Payel's prescription eyeglasses break right before a crucial exam, Ritu makes the ultimate sacrifice—giving up her own exam slot to rush home and retrieve Payel's spare glasses.
