In the same kind of search, I stumbled upon Ghoomer. I primarily decided to watch it for a flavor of cricket, as it was released at a time when the world was drenched in the pool of World Cup 2023.

Secondly, I made up my mind to watch it for the hope of a good performance from Abhishek Bachchan. He has always been at his best when playing a character rather than a traditional hero or comic role. We saw his talent emerging in Guru, and now I really liked it in Ghoomer. He gives life to the character of a defeated yet optimistic former player who still has pace in his blood and passion in his head for the love of cricket.

The movie is focused on a promising woman cricketer who faces a fate-hit situation where she loses her hand in an accident, along with her hopes of ever playing for a team. Inspiration arrives in the form of AB, and the story unfolds with the taste of struggle, encouragement, and dedication.

The story is inspiring and holds interest until the end.

Dialogues with witty one-liners are good and add a strong punch to the scenes.

Each event crafted in the movie relates well to upcoming frames. As a coach and cricketer duo, the performances of Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher are promising.
