In the era of OTTs, the options and opportunity of cinema is wide spread. But when more door of opportunity open, we get all variety of content flooded. And here comes the challenging task to gind and enjoy a quality content.
In the same kind of search, I stumbled upon on Ghoomer. Primarily decided to watch it for a flavour of cricket, as it is released at the time when the world was drenched into the pool of World Cup 2023.
Secondly, I made up my mind to watch it for the hope of a good performance from Abhishek Bachchan. He has always been at his best when it comes to play a character rather than a hero or comic role. We shaw his talent emerging in Guru, and now I liked it in Ghoomer. He gives life to the character of defeated yet optimist former player who still has the pace in his blood and passion in head for the love of cricket.
Review:
The movie is focused on a promising woman cricketer, who faces a fae hit situation, where she loses his one hand in an accident and also the hopes to play ever for a team. There comes the inspiration in form of AB and the story unfolds with the taste of struggle, encouragement and dedication
The story is inspiring and holds interest till end.
Dialogues with witty one liners are good and add a punch to scenes.
Each event crafted in movie relates to upcoming frames. As a coach and cricketer duo, performances of Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher is promising.
A not to miss content on OTT.
