Mahek Mirza (2007)
When we are in love, we feel divine.
After watching this movie we feel divine for our CINEMA. There are hidden gems all around us, just we need to remove, the dirt over it and then we can have that magnificent glorious view in our eyes.
It was a best and no regret selection to watch this movie on a summer afternoon on a Sunday. Away from all political-selfish and cruel world, this movie gives you happiness, feel-good effect and calmness in the heart.
Review:
The movie takes us back to our golden days of life, the school days, when our hearts were plain papers, pure white, without any stains of dirty world issues.
Performance of lead child actress (Shreya Sharma-Mahek) is way too par to be described in words. It’s too pure and original, that you can not stop yourself to fall in love with.
Movies are made with imaginations which turn out on a silver screen. But this movie itself is based on innocent imagination subject. Acting by all child stars in the movie is natural and lovable. One liner dialog in the conversations add up to the charm of the cinematic excellence.
The movie is about a school girl, Mahek Mirza, who imagines a lot, who day dreams a lot. Dreams of ultimate success in all fields, dreams of becoming number-1 in all areas of life. However, Mahek fails to achieve the same in real life always as she is unaware of her altimate talent.
She gets upset with herself and thinks that she is not best in anything. Then enters a modern fairy in her life and inspires her to find the unique talent in herself.
In the process she discovers her hidden passion and achieves the success.
The movie in-turn gives us the message, that each of us is special and have some unique ability. If we make that as our goal we achieve the best in life, rather than trying to achieve altogether.
The editing of the movie, is another best part to enjoy. All the loose links will sum-up at the end of the story and you will surely like the ending.
Special mention:
The relationship between a father and daughter is shown sweetly in the movie that if you are a father you would always like such friendly atmosphere at home with your daughter. Relay to fall in love for.
Some facts:
The movie has been included in the university syllabus at the Otterbein College, Ohio.
A best recommended movie to watch with your children. Or even if you want to go back for some time, to your past golden era of school life.
Enjoy Cinema.
