Notebook
My Rating:6.9

In the crowd of loud, noisy and intensive dusty movies, I got a cool and clean breeze kind of movie, in the name of Notebook.

This Notebook is however copied from “The Teacher’s Diary”, a 2014 Thai movie of this name.

While writing this review, I have not yet seen this original Thai movie, but have already decided to watch after seeing sweet chemistry of two loveable charecters in this Bollywood adaption.

Review:

This is a sweet, light and feel-good movie to watch in light romantic mood.

Two newcomers are very well casted in movie and they justify their roles just as what is required in the story.

Cinematography put in many frames is really mesmerizing and gives a happy feeling of our beloved Kashmir.

The shooting locations, and original setup of Kashmir gives beauty in each frame.

The cute love story fills heart and beautiful scenery fulfils soul.

The story is simple, love is pure and not forced. Bhumro song is reproduced in the movie but does not seem separated from the mood of the film, rather it sets mood and feel of the story. Editing in few scene is admirable while showing a time of a year apart.

Pranutan Bahl, as Firdous looks cute and lovable. Along with playing a cute girl role, she proves herself in scene where she has to be a strong woman, who wants to be independent and self-confident.

These kind of movies are rare to attempt in such fast, action filled movie era. But what real hearts want to see, is these gems.

You would love reading each page of this "Notebook", each word filled with pure love and beauty of love, which makes Kashmir in every heart, who knows what Love is.
