A Light hearted, innocent romantic love story, with sweet humour, to enjoy with friends, family and loved ones.

Review:

The story revolves around the two neighbours at a village at Bhopal in MP India. One is a boy of 8 year and other is his neighbour and friend Nimmo, a girl in her 20s, who is about to get married to a boy from Jabalpur.

The innocent love from 8 year boy's side towards Nimmo is beautifully captured in the camera and portrayed smartly with love on canvas of cinema.

Director has given full justice to the local theme of Bhopal and captured the local landscapes, places, marrieage traditional fuctions at home very honestly.

Performances:

We see a serious side of Anjali Patil's acting in "The Silence" and the seer apposite, light comic and innocent performance in this movie. She looks beautiful in all the scenes and has delivered the pin point correctness what was demanded by the movie and the story.

The show has been stolen by our lead "hero", master Karan Dave. The grace, attitude and expressions, he tops all segments of the acting in the movie.

Other supporting cast is overshadowed by the performances of the duo.

Smart Scenes:

The director and editor have done a great work jointly. The scenes are captured marvellously smart way. Very small elements in the story have been beautifully used by director in narration of the movie. Few example are like:

- Batting craze: In the opening scene of the film, Hemu is shown to have desperate craze of batting, but he ever gets chance to bat as he seems not to be a good batsman. In the middle of the film when Hemu comes to know about broken marriage of Nimmo, he gets himself out knowingly to go home and celebrate his innocent happiness on this. At the end of the movie, when Hemu is married and gone to her in laws, Hemu comes to bat and plays well, with broken heart. Pain teaches everything sometimes... maybe...

- Scenes where Hemu tries to show that he not a kid anymore. During Vidai Scene of Nimmo, Hemu does not cry, showing how he has grown up now and MEN DON'T CRY.

- Table fan: One more character in the film which goes without mentioning is a table fan at Nimmo's home. The use of stuck up the rotating table fan and conversation, Hemu has with it is really smartly captured and used in the movie.

- All the traditions which are done by a "to behusband" in marriage are somehow fullfilled by Hemu towards Nimmo in the story. May it be Mangal Sutra, going to temple, Sitting as a couple in Stayanarayan Pooja, Meeting on first night, etc...

- White street dog: In first scene the dog runs behind Hemu, when he has just achieved love moments with his best friend Nimmo. In the second scene, when Hemu is beaten by his mother in Nimmo's marriage day, he returns to his home from Nimmo's place. But on the way, seeing the dog, he first hits it with stone. Showing the anger, Hemu has in him.

- Faith in God: Hemu is shown to have faith and worshiping god and even lighting up lamp at home. In a scene when Hemu is shown to convince his school friend that god exists, Hemu is asked by his friend to swim upto deep water in village pond to show if really god exist and if God can save him sinking. Hemu swims to deep waters and hets sinking but saved by. He still believes that God exists. But when Nimmo is finally getting married, Hemu's trust from God is shown to be stumbled with scene when Hemu blows away Lamp at home Tulsi plant.

- Taking out Mangal Sutra: The class end of the movie. See the movie to experience the magic of this scene.

Take Away:

Not to miss such films, portraying innocent love and care. Must watch for light hearted movie lovers. Enjoy cinema of Indian feelings.
