"The Silence", screams loud and its scream will surely make you awake from the bottom of your heart.

Gems are always hidden, and lucky ones get to get these gems. I feel lucky enough to find this gem.
I written in my earlier review of movie, NEWTON, I was searching movies of Anjali Patil, and in that search I got this diamond like movie.
The movie is based on true incidents as narrated in the beginning of the film. Even if it is not credited in the movie, the story portrayed in the movie is much known to us and somewhere, somehow, we are witnessing these incidents, stories.
The movie talks about the humiliation, unjust, sexual abuse and rape of women in our so called man-bound society.
Highlights:
The cinematography of this movie is beautiful. The green landscapes of rural Maharashtra are well captured in the movie.
The title of the movie fits too well with the cinematography. The dialogs less, intense scenes with great piece of performances by each actor, makes you indulge in the deep silence.
Deep Silence, because you know that you do not have answers of the questions asked in those scenes. Even if we know the answer, we do not have courage to speak up.
Performances:
Anjali Patil, says a lot with her expressions in stressful scenes. The child actor who played 12 year old chinni is way parallel to Anjali in terms of performance.
Raghuvir yadav is always class as he is.
Nagraj Manjule has given full justice to his negative shade of role. I had seen him in light comic roles in Movies like FANDRY, SAIRAT, but this was class from him, and that too in debutant as an actor.
Smart Scenes:
The mixture of flashback and present story is edited too smartly that you never loose a bit of cinmea in it. The Silence is a powerful, power-pack strong cinema.
Take Away:
Must watch for serious cinema lovers. Movie has a strong subject and strongly presented without any mercy.
